🐾 Long Branch Fall Festival & Pooch Parade 🎃🐶

October 17, 2026 - 12PM - 4PM

The highlight of the day is the beloved Pooch Parade, where pups take center stage in their best fall costumes for a festive stroll through Pier Village. From adorable to hilarious, creative to spooky, this crowd-favorite parade celebrates furry friends and their families with a joyful community moment along the oceanfront.

Dogs will line up at 12:00PM, with the parade stepping off at 12:30PM. A costume contest will follow, with prizes presented by Doggie Sweets. Guests can enjoy pet treats, baked goods, pet massages, costumes, and a pumpkin patch photo moment designed just for you and your pup. Yappy Hour and dog trick-or-treating at Carousel Bar begins at 1:00PM, and a portion of proceeds benefits Pick Your Paw Rescue.

Rules & Regulations:
Dogs must be registered for the parade by 12:15PM. Registered participants must check in at Doggie Sweets between 11:00AM–12:00PM. Registration fee is $5 per dog. All dogs must be leashed, licensed, and pre-registered. Female dogs in heat are not permitted. Children 12 and under participating with a dog must be accompanied by an adult. Awards will be presented immediately following the parade.

Beyond the parade, the Long Branch Fall Festival brings a full afternoon of autumn experiences for all ages at Pier Village.

Live entertainment throughout the day, including a DJ, Music and a Bavarian German Band with traditional dancers. 

Festival activities include pumpkin carving demonstrations, face painting, henna art, inflatable rides, fall games, and trick-or-treating at Pier Village shops and vendor tables. Guests can also enjoy miniature golf, bowling, VR golf, air hockey, arcade games, and carousel rides throughout the Village.

Seasonal treats will be available across the property

Special features include psychic readings by Gifted Sara and a meet-and-greet with Sparky, the Long Branch Fire Department mascot. Additional vendors and activities will be announced.
